On 3 December 1992, a shooting occurred in Greenville, South Carolina, United States. Three people died as a result of the injuries, and at least one person was injured. The attack took place near a school, in front of a apartment complex and in the backyard of an elderly woman's house. The gunman, identified as 23-year old David Max Foster, unknowningly fled the site with a stolen schoolbus, planning to kill every passenger. He dismissed the plan and drove off to a discrete location where he grabbed a motorbike of some sort and went to North Carolina, took in at a motel and by time eventually moved to other places. Police were able to find where Foster was located but he committed suicide before anything could happen.
