A incident occurred at Krepps Park in Morgantown, West Virginia, on the afternoon of July 6, 1996. Four teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17 attacked the remaining persons of the park with cleavers. Three minutes in, already four people have been stabbed. Approximately five minutes into the attack, a gunman identified as 34-year old Gamon Chaiprasit, fired a Glock 19 9mm pistol at the perpetrators, striking two whom fell to the ground. One of the teenagers disarmed Chaiprasit and he was killed by several hits from the cleaver. The massacre kept going with the [two] teenage boys attacking seven other people, killing two. It finally ceased when police pulled up to the scene, and one of the perpetrators committed suicide. The fourth assailant fled by foot until he was fatally shot by law enforcement.

Aftermath Edit

Only two of the four perpetrators were eventually identified. 17-year old Brandon Fleming, was killed by officers. 16-year old Anthony Maxwell was shot dead by Gamon Chaiprasit and died in hospital one week later.
