Green Day, who love to smoke weed behind people's back, is a three piece rock band that consists of three peeps: BJ (guitarer player/singist), MD (Basser player), and TC (drummer boy). Green Day got their first break in 1994 with Dookie but didn't get extremely popular until 2005 when they released their very successful album American Idiot but in 2009, they lost their cool again and released another one of their sucky albums, which was titled 21st Century Breakdown. History[]Many considered them sellouts when they created Dookie, an album that had nothing to do with its title name. Before then, virtually no one knew them.Dookie got them some success, but when American Idiot went out, people were shooting their heads off from the power it had on the radio. Songs were overplayed so much, that almost every radio station was playing "Wake Me up When Eventually, tho, it all died down and people got really tired of it.Now no one knows for sure if Green Day are alive or dead, because Billie Joe received a DUI for having an alcohol read of "0.57" and was taken to jail. No one knows for sure where he is now. As for the other two members, well, no one even hears about them. American Idiot was actually their only breakthrough, because their 2009 album, 21st Century Breakdown, has nothing famous in it and contains a whole bunch of non-mainstream crap that no one wants to hear. Criticism[]Green Day have been heavily criticised for being gay and also for not being a punk band anymore and instead being sellouts with their 21st Century Breakdown and American Idiot albums, especially. But also that stupid album of theirs called Warning. Also, ever since their preachment about politics, lots of people started disliking them, particularly critics who had nothing better to do.
