A poet is someone who writes poets, which are stanzas with, like, thirty words in them (or something). This job was rated #2 in the List of the easiest jobs in America, due to the fact that all you have to do is think up a stanza and a name for it every few years and your friggin rich. Surely everyone would want to be a poet, you'd think, right?
It's a lot easier than being, like, an electrician, because all they get to do is work on cars all day, which can get boring and hard after doing it for a long enough period of time.
History[]
Poetry began develop back in the 1870's when television ads were told that they needed to "spice up their commercials with something other than just words", so they added a whole bunch of poetry into it, and that's why that if you ever watched TV back then, it was filled with poetry related topics. Or, at least, that's what commercials were always about. Poetry. That's it.
