The Great Depression, in today's knowledge, most commonly refers to when Tom Cruise is featured on the front page of something that is shown a lot, such as a newspaper or yahoo!'s headline.
The Great Depression started when Tommy Lee Jones was in high school, somewhere in the 1920's, people speculate. During the Great Depression, much of the time, Tom Cruise was famous and well known. This was around the time he started selling tickets that he bought off of Ebay for $5 each, which he sold for #5.01 each, which he thought was pretty cool because he gained about thirty cents overall.
