To try is to attempt but to fail, much like a loser, in the eyes of everyone who knows what they're talking about (unlike people who think they know how to explain and create morals for little children who are still learning about the world).

History Edit

Trying was prohibited in Egyptian times because of the rarity of Egyptian people to be able to succeed after they tried, so the saying was, "Don't say you'll try to succeed, say you will succeed", and that is practically the only thing the Egyptians are known for, despite that they are not very proud of it (some people may even consider them emo).

In modern language Edit

In the English language, trying in today's usage means that you are unsure if you will succeed in doing what you want to do.
